About EHI Custom Doors
We're the custom door side of Efficient Home Improvements, a Toronto-area home improvement company with over 20 years behind it. We manufacture, supply, and install every door ourselves, so you're always working with the same team from start to finish.
Our Story
EHI Custom Doors operates under Efficient Home Improvements, a licensed and insured home improvement company that's been serving the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years. Our team started out working across HVAC, renovations, and home comfort projects, and custom doors grew into their own focus because homeowners kept asking for the same thing, a front or back entry door that's actually built for their home and their climate, not picked off a shelf.
That's why EHI Custom Doors exists as its own name, so the door side of the business gets the attention and craftsmanship it deserves.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple. Build custom fiberglass doors that actually last, price them honestly, and stand behind every door we install. We don't believe in vague estimates or handing your project off to a subcontractor. When you work with EHI Custom Doors, you're working with the same people who build your door, deliver it, and install it in your home.
What Makes Us Different
Most door companies fall into one of two categories: a manufacturer who sells through dealers, or an installer who buys doors from somewhere else. EHI Custom Doors does both under one roof. We manufacture our own fiberglass doors, and our own team installs them. No dealer markup, no subcontracted labour, no guessing who to call if something needs adjusting later.
- No dealer markup
- No subcontracted labour
- Same team, start to finish
Awards and Recognition
In 2021, Efficient Home Improvements, the team behind EHI Custom Doors, earned the HomeStars Best of Award and HomeStars Verified status. Both require a strong track record of real customer reviews and a clean, verified business history, not something handed out automatically. Efficient Home Improvements was also voted Best Company in HVAC, Custom Doors & Windows, and Home Renovations for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Where We Work
We build and install custom fiberglass doors for homeowners across Toronto and the GTA, from Stouffville and Aurora to Markham, Vaughan, Mississauga, and everywhere in between. Wherever you are in our service area, the same team handles your door from start to finish.
